The situation

Serving a small client costs almost as much as a large one

The revenue, however, is a fraction. That is why portfolios concentrate on the bigger clients, even when the rest, added up, is worth more.

Always the same questions

Deductibles, deadlines, cover. Legitimate requests, but the answer is already in the documents the client holds.

Documents never in sync

Your version and the client’s drift apart over time. Reconstructing the real situation takes phone calls and attachments.

The mandate has to be visible

A client who does not see the work done for them struggles to perceive its value. At that point they only look at the price.

The small client does not pay off

With traditional methods the numbers do not add up. Reducing the operational load on that segment is the only way to keep it, and keep it well.

The maths

What it costs, concretely

You pay per managed client, meaning per client with an active delegation. No entry fee, no minimum, no cost for the client.

Managed clientsPer yearPer month, roughly
50 clientsCHF 100less than CHF 9
200 clientsCHF 400about CHF 33
500 clientsCHF 1,000about CHF 83

CHF 2.– per year per client with an active delegation, billed annually in Swiss francs. The client who delegates to you pays nothing.

How a client is activated

Delegation, with the client’s consent

A broker’s access is not an administrative setting: it is an authorisation the client grants and can withdraw.

  1. You invite the client

They receive an invitation with a single-use, time-limited link tied to that specific broker-client pair. The email contains no policy data.

  2. The client accepts

They sign in and choose what to delegate to you: a single policy or all of them, present and future. Acceptance completes the consent.

  3. You work within the granted scope

You see the delegated policies and, if the delegation is broad, upload documents on the client’s behalf. Every operation stays attributed to whoever performed it.

The client can revoke at any time. After revocation you keep the documents received while the delegation was active, as already happens in practice today, but you do not see policies added afterwards.

In the portal

What you see

An overview of your portfolio, strictly limited to active delegations.

The portfolio at a glance

Managed clients, policies by risk category, upcoming deadlines, open claims. From every number you drill down to the detail, always within the scope of the delegation.

Who needs you, and who does not

Clients separate themselves into those who manage on their own and those who need you to step in. Your time goes where it is needed.

Alerts that get ahead

Deadlines within ninety days, renewals without a response, open cases. They arrive before they become a problem.

Uploading on the client’s behalf

With a broad delegation you can upload documents yourself. It stays on record that you did it, for that client, at that moment.

What Coverly does not do, and will not do

The boundary applies to you as well: it is the reason Coverly can sit alongside your work without stepping into it.

  • It does not broker contracts and does not collect premiums.
  • It does not compare market products and does not pitch offers to your clients.
  • It does not advise your client: it shows what their documents say.
  • It does not contact your clients on its own initiative.
  • It does not show you clients or policies without an active delegation.
